SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING FOR MINISTERS- All people in ministry, including all priests, renew their training for safe environment every year. I can personally testify that these videos viewed online are excellent and helpful in making sure people are safe. This can be for the protection of children, but it also includes anyone who might be vulnerable at any age. The challenge for our society is that we have an atmosphere where we think everyone should mind their own business and not risk getting involved. Whenever that happens, poor behavior, including harmful behavior, can happen, and those who can help do nothing. I ask every minister to join me in making sure we renew our safe environment, as the videos are filled with good and important information to help us be good citizens, as the scriptures invite us to be.

American hospitality has been talked about as those visiting our country are impressed with how they have been welcomed and received. When the news cycle focuses on what divides and separates us, the stories of people learning about each other are a reminder that human beings at our best are welcoming and kind.
