First Down with Fr. Eric (November 10, 2024)

Dear Friends,
I offer my thanks to the Parish Staff for all the work put in for another successful FALL FESTIVAL. Lenny Kelly was the point person and the parish staff came together and made sure the festival ran smoothly and their presence made people feel welcomed. There were also a good number of parishioners who offered their support with the Trunk or Treat for the kids, the games and booths and of course the Men’s Club for providing the delicious free food to all our guests. Please know that I am aware of many people who offered their help and it is that effort that made it a great experience for so many.
Fr. Stephan, our clergy support from the Crosiers Religious Order, did a great job inviting all the kids up front to talk about the Gospel and also celebrating Halloween. The church was filled with many families and the children did another great service at the Family Mass by ministering at our Mass. Stories of people finding out about our parish, families learning about what we offer children throughout the year, and some families never having been to church before, joined us for the 4:30 pm Mass. A reminder that the FALL FESTIVAL is a great tool to reach out to our parishioners and also people in the greater community.
A reminder that we are inviting all parishioners to consider becoming a Eucharistic Minister, offering the Body and Blood of Christ to the people of God. As mentioned in the past homilies, Jesus called forth people to distribute the food and our baptism calls us to serve as needed. Please email liturgy@stpatcc.org to offer your name to be trained and guided to serve. We are inviting more to participate as we desire to offer the chalice (cup) of the Precious Blood at all Masses.
Peace in Christ,
Fr. Eric
