Dear Friends, 

This weekend at all our Masses we will be offering a blessing for the new school year. However we feel about our educational system, we have before us the possibility of increasing our knowledge and using that knowledge to serve the greater good. We call upon the patron saint of students, St. Thomas Aquinas, to bless all students, at any age, to do their best in their studies and to be protected from any harm. We also call upon the patron saint of educators, St. Jean Baptist de La Salle, to inspire and encourage all who instruct in a school setting. These past years have unfortunately caused us to be very concerned about the safety of all in the school setting. We call upon the Holy Spirit to offer protection to everyone this school year. 

We offer congratulations to Kylie Popa in her upcoming wedding ceremony in Cape Cod to Matt Adamo. She will be living in Cape Cod as Matt finishes his internship in the medical field.
